There's still a slight chance that Angelina Love could end up joining WWE instead of returning to TNA.

For those of you that have not heard, Angelina Love, one of the top female wrestlers in North America, was released by TNA not too long ago due to issues with her work visa.

While the consensus believes that she will eventually sign a new deal with TNA once things are resolved, there's still that slight window of opportunity for WWE to swoop in and steal her away.

Angelina Love, a former TNA Knockouts Champion, is a Canadian citizen who resides in Toronto, which is the city where Raw is scheduled to be next Monday night (show will be hosted by Trish Stratus).

The 9 year veteran of the business is expected to be backstage at the event (either as a guest of WWE itself or as a guest of one of the many wrestlers there that she is friends with).

While no official talks have been sheduled between Angelina Love and WWE, it would not come as a surprise to anyone if management had a few words with her to gauge her interest.

Signing Angelina Love would be huge for WWE.

Weakening the Opponent

When word got out that former TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim was leaving the company for WWE, it was pretty devastating to the fans.

Gail Kim had been the centerpiece of a female division that was unarguably superior to the WWE's female division.

Losing her was viewed as a major blow at the time (of course, TNA managed to keep the division hot with the depth of talented female performers).

Much like Gail Kim before her, Angelina Love established herself as the centerpiece of the Knockouts division.

If WWE were to sign her away from TNA, they would be delivering what is expected to be a severe blow to their competition.

The Knockouts division will find a way to continue to thrive (someone else will step it up), but it would not be the same without Angelina Love.

Strengthening Yourself

Aside from wanting to hurt the competition, signing Angelina Love, a former developmental wrestler for the company, would strengthen the WWE women's division.

Angelina Love, whose real name is Angel Williams, brings a lot to the table.

As an in-ring performer, she's solid. She understands how to work an audience in between moves. As a personality, Angelina Love knows how to work the mic and draw heel heat.

As an overall performer, Angelina Love is exactly what WWE hopes that Maryse will some day become.

She would immediately join Mickie James and Gail Kim as the veterans who know how to work and can carry the lesser skilled divas in the company.

With her tremendous ass...ets, she could be quite useful to the company for photoshoots and various promotions.

Closing Thoughts

Never say never in wrestling. The odds are that Angelina Love will end up back in TNA, but don't completely rule out the possibility that she could be stolen by WWE.
