Wrestlemania XXVI; The Rock vs. John Cena will it happen?

--The next issue of Inside Wrestling features The Rock and John Cena on the cover of the magazine with a headline reading: "Hot WrestleMania Rumor - John Cena vs. The Rock." The sister publication of Pro Wrestling Illustrated claims that the "mega-bout is closed to being signed." The article's synopsis reads: "The relationship between The Rock and John Cena is strange. Cena respects all The Rock has accomplished yet seems to resent it at the same time. That is why "The Champ" is pining for a match with The Rock at WWE's showcase event. Word is, this mega-bout is close to being signed." Right.

Kofi Kingston; Why is WWE Pushing him so hard?

- One of the reasons Kofi Kingston is being pushed hard at the moment is because they feel they need another African-American babyface star and the company has given up on several other wrestlers as reported earlier, that were picked for the spot at one point or another.

WWE: Sky UK Broadcasting Deal Done?

As noted a while ago, WWE's contract with Sky Sports was set to expire soon but it appears a new deal is in place that will see Superstars debut in the UK. A note of interest is that WWE will not be increasing pay-per-view prices here in the UK from £14.99($24) unlike in the States where prices are set to rise.

Jack Swagger: Has WWE Given Up on his Push

According to a source, WWE has "given up" on pushing Jack Swagger to superstardom as he has not quite panned out as officials had initially hoped.

When he first showed up on the WWE scene a little over a year ago, "The All-American American" was pegged as the future of the company due to his tremendous size. Nowadays, he's considered a comedy figure ranked slightly lower than Chavo Guerrero on the RAW pecking order. Furthermore, some feel he's in danger of becoming "this year's Chris Masters."

Wrestlemania XXVI;- Rumours and Possible **Spoliers**

- There is a feeling in WWE that something special needs to be done with The Undertaker for WrestleMania 26. WWE knows that more and more fans are tired of the same old matches and want to deliver a match that fans have not seen before. The Dead Man's health continues to deteriorate and he's less mobile now than he's ever been, so his year as a Wrestlemania draw are certainly winding down. Right now, a match with John Cena is being strongly considered as the main event for WrestleMania.

- There is also talk of a Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels match at WrestleMania 26. The two have wrestled each other many times before, but not in several years and never on the grand stage of WrestleMania. While DX is still one of the top babyface acts in WWE, this one makes sense and WWE may have planted the seed for the match at Survivor Series with HBK superkicking the Game in the opening moments of their triple threat match with John Cena.

- At one point, there had been a plan for a CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio Hair vs. Mask match at WrestleMania 26, but this is unlikely to happen now considering Mysterio's injury problems.

Lauren Mayhew;- Gone from WWE.com

Recently Signed ECW In-Ring Announcer and WWE Diva has been removed from the WWE.com website. Does this mean that WWE have already done with the 'Lillian Garcia' Replacement, or have WWE found their ideal replacement and have changed their mind about Lauren Mayhew?

Dolph Ziggler: Are WWE Giving Up on Him?

For those keeping track, Dolph Ziggler has taken part in twenty-six Intercontinental title matches at various events (televised and non-televised) within the past few months, losing all but two. He won one match via count-out with another match being ruled a double count-out. Furthermore, he has come up short in retrieving the title on television on seven different occasions including Night of Champions, SummerSlam, Hell in the Cell and four separate episodes of Friday Night SmackDown!.

Ziggler was at one point scheduled to win the title from Rey Mysterio over the summer, but the high-flying Superstar vetoed dropping the title to him on more than one occasion. When push came to shove as a result of a 30-day suspension for violating the company's drug testing policy in early September, Mysterio agreed to drop the title to John Morrison.

Now it appears that the ship has sailed on Ziggler nabbing the gold as WWE officials have reportedly "given up on him."
On a related noted, Ziggler was voted the "Most Deserving of a Title Shot" among his peers in the "Superstar Survey" taken for the latest issue of WWE Magazine.

WWE: Briscoe Brothers Update

As reported earlier, former Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions The Briscoe Brothers received tryouts with WWE prior to last Tuesday's SmackDown/ECW taping in Philadelphia. The brothers Briscoe are currently under contract to ROH and were granted permission to tryout. In an update on the situation, WWE officials were impressed with their tryout and they have been called back to tryout again for further evaluation.

It is unknown yet weather Becky Bayless has been called back to tryout again.

Raw: Hershey Pa, Results

HERSHEY, Pa. - In a city famous for all things chocolate, special guest host, Gov. Jesse Ventura, brought to Raw an appropriate revolutionary new concept: Sweet for some, bitter for others and a little messy when things got too hot to handle.

WWE Champion John Cena and Sheamus signed title match contract; Sheamus attacked Cena

Gov. Jesse Ventura has never been afraid to speak his mind. So, at the conclusion of the contract signing between WWE Champion John Cena and his opponent at the WWE TLC pay-per-view, Sheamus, Ventura admitted that he thought there was a conspiracy at WWE. As the host of Conspiracy Theory, a truTV program that has Ventura hunting for answers to determine the validity of various theories, the WWE Hall of Famer told The Champ that he feels there’s a conspiracy by WWE officials to maintain Cena as the face of the company.

While Ventura went on to say that he hopes Sheamus defeats Cena, The Celtic Warrior attacked the WWE Champion from behind and slammed him through a table. It was then that Ventura declared that the WWE Championship Match at WWE TLC will officially be a Tables Match.

Raw’s special guest host next week will be Verne Troyer
Next week’s Raw promises to be huge, even if the show’s special guest host packs all his manic energy into a less-than-giant frame. Austin Powers alum Verne Troyer will stroll into Baltimore, Md., to take control and show the WWE Universe that big things come in small packages.

Sheamus def. Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, MVP, Mark Henry, R-Truth, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase

With each having earned their spot in the first-ever Breakthrough Battle Royal, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, MVP, Mark Henry, R-Truth, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase each appeared focused on what could prove to many to be the opportunity of their careers. Whichever Superstar emerged victorious would compete in either a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship Match.

As special guest host, Gov. Jesse Ventura, alongside Mr. McMahon, announced the bout, the action inside the ring tumbled along at a frenetic pace. While alliances were utilized, they were also tested. Two Superstars that have showcased an unusually high level of rancor, Kofi and Orton, were at each other's throats almost immediately. Before the end of the match, though, The Dreadlock Dynamo would get the best of The Viper, sending him over the top rope and out of the competition. Kofi had little time to celebrate, however, since, by the end, it was The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, who would emerge from the pack of hungry Superstars to become the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship.

Legacy def. Cryme Tyme

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase have always been eager to please. And with their Legacy ring leader, Randy Orton, in the Breakthrough Battle Royal, you can just bet that The Viper loudly emphasized the need to have his henchmen in the ring with him. Well, Randy, mission accomplished. The Legacy duo beat back the challenge of Cryme Tyme to qualify themselves for the night’s main event.

Kane confronted Batista

After “embarrassing” his former best friend, Rey Mysterio, at Survivor Series, Batista informed the WWE Universe that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on The Undertaker’s World Heavyweight Championship. Not so fast. The Deadman’s brother, Kane, then entered the ring and confronted The Animal, begging that Batista try to crush him like he did Rey the night before. The Animal, however, would not take the bait and left the ring.

DX def. The Hart Dynasty;

Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show will defend their titles against DX at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs

Despite practically trying to dismantle one another at Survivor Series in a Triple Threat WWE Title Match, Triple H and Shawn Michaels reestablished their bond, understanding their actions the night before were in the heat of competition. Once they put bygones behind them, they quickly found their groove while facing off against The Hart Dynasty. While Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith looked to be in top shape and gave the DX duo a bit of a scare, the veterans pulled out the victory.

Afterward, Chris Jericho paid the two a visit to discuss he and Big Show defending their Unified Tag Team Titles against the challenge of DX at the upcoming pay-per-view, WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. After listening to Jericho condescend for a while, DX happily informed the self-important Superstar that their bout will be a TLC Match!

Divas Champion Melina, Mickie James & Kelly Kelly def. Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla & Jillian

Forget everything you learned about Thanksgiving in elementary school. On Raw, the Pilgrims and Native Americans didn’t sit down to a fall feast. Instead, they dressed in sexy outfits and tried to tear each other apart in a Thanksgiving Mayflower Melee Match. Clad in Native American apparel, Divas Champion Melina, Mickie James & Kelly Kelly fought Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla & Jillian. To complete the Thanksgiving theme, the Goobledy Gooker even served as timekeeper.

Once the match got underway, Team Native American was able to best Team Pilgrim when Melina managed to pin Jillian. Always eager to speak with Divas, Jerry “The King” Lawler entered the ring for an interview with the beautiful Latina. And that’s when things took a turn for the weird. The Gobbledy Gooker attacked the Divas Champion from behind. Moments later, it was revealed that the turkey costume was actually stuffed with Maryse!

Primo attacked by The Viper; Randy Orton def. Evan Bourne

Like a spoiled child, Randy Orton simply won’t take “no” for an answer. In a desperate attempt to qualify for the Breakthrough Battle Royal, The Viper attacked Primo as the Boriqua brawler made his way to the ring for his qualifying match against Evan Bourne.

As a result, Primo was unable to compete. After consent by special guest host Gov. Jesse Ventura, it was Orton who battled Bourne. Unfortunately for the aerial artist, The Viper proved too much to handle as he slithered into a qualifying position.

DX being sued by Hornswoggle

Just as Triple H and Shawn Michaels were reciting a list of things for which they’re grateful, the two were interrupted by a lawyer representing Hornswoggle. The attorney informed DX that, after last week’s Pedigree on Hornswoggle, the leprechaun is suing the duo for intentional infliction of emotional distress and will see them in "little people's court" next week.

Mark Henry, MVP & R-Truth def. Jack Swagger, Chris Masters & Chavo Guerrero

As proof that a WWE ring possesses the capacity to support massive amounts of gross tonnage, Mark Henry, MVP & R-Truth climbed into the squared circle to face Jack Swagger, Chris Masters & Chavo Guerrero in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. The contest would determine which three individuals from the winning squad qualify for tonight’s Breakthrough Battle Royal. In the end, R-Truth showed the WWE Universe "what’s up" by pinning The Masterpiece, Chris Masters.

Jesse Ventura and Mr. McMahon to return to announce table

Being Raw’s special guest host has its privileges. As such, Gov. Jesse Ventura welcomed himself into Mr. McMahon’s office to deliver a message: He’s getting the band back together! Well, actually, just the announce team of Ventura & McMahon, which would reunite to call the Breakthrough Battle Royal. The camera time should benefit the charismatic host of truTV’s Conspiracy Theory, which debuts Dec. 2 at 10 p.m.

WWE Champion John Cena def. CM Punk

Raw’s special guest host, Gov. Jesse Ventura, expressed his desire to break free from convention – and tonight he succeeded. He arranged a non-title match between WWE Champion John Cena and a SmackDown Superstar, CM Punk. The preachy pugilist, Punk dropped by Raw just one night after falling shy of clinching victory for Randy Orton and his team at Survivor Series. The Champ, on the other hand, was fresh off a successful title defense against Triple H and Shawn Michaels at the colossal pay-per-view.

The momentum proved too much for Punk to overcome as Cena dug in his heels and managed to triumph over his opponent’s high-energy attack.

Sheamus def. Finlay

The power and peril of Sheamus continues unabated. After channeling his considerable rage at the WWE timekeeper and Jerry “The King” Lawler during the prior Raw, The Celtic Warrior punished fellow Irishman Finlay at Survivor Series, kicking him in the head before pinning him. Tonight, the troubles persisted. Finlay once again found himself on the losing end as Sheamus defeated him and qualified for the Breakthrough Battle Royal.

Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler

Fresh off his pounding of Randy Orton a week ago and his team captain victory the night before at Survivor Series, Kofi Kingston faced off against Dolph Ziggler in the first-ever Breakthrough Battle Royal Qualifying Match. The wind clearly at Kofi’s back, The Dreadlock Dynamo hit some rough waters but eventually sailed past Ziggler to become the first Superstar to qualify for tonight’s contest.

Special guest host Gov. Jesse Ventura announced Breakthrough Battle Royal

Whether as a WWE Hall of Famer, the Governor of Minnesota or the host of truTV’s upcoming Conspiracy Theory, Jesse Ventura has always proven himself an iconoclast, a man predictable only in his unpredictability.

Ventura hewed close to form when he dropped by Raw to serve as special guest host. Confronted by Randy Orton demanding a WWE Title Match, Ventura informed The Viper that neither he nor anyone who has possessed the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship would be granted title opportunities.

In fact, Ventura devised the first ever Breakthrough Battle Royal, in which a series of bouts would be held between members of Raw and SmackDown who never held a World Title. The winners of these bouts will then participate in the Breakthrough Battle Royal with the winner earning a either a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Rey Mysterio: Injured out until Royal Rumble

Rey Mysterio's knee is in bad shape and the former World Heavyweight champion will need surgery to repair the situation. The beatdown he suffered at the hands of Batista following their match at Survivor Series was done to set up his time away from the ring.

While there was talk that he'd undergo an extensive surgery to fully repair the ACL, Mysterio is now is said to be considering a less invasive procedure on his ACL that would allow him to return sooner than later.

The more invasive procedure would have kept him out of action for upto 9 months and he would have missed WrestleMania 26. While this other surgery he's considering will allow him to return at the Royal Rumble, he will still need major surgery down the road, likely after he retires.

Mysterio did appear at a scheduled book signing last night in Ridgewood, NJ. The signing drew around 500 fans, and Mysterio was said to not be selling the injury in any way.

Surivior Series: The Results

Survivor Series comes from Washington D.C. Where every match has a Last Survivor!!!

WASHINGTON D.C. - When it comes to claiming WWE’s most coveted title, loyalty remains an expense some Superstars simply cannot afford.
While Triple H and Shawn Michaels insisted that competing in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship would do little to sever the deep bond between them, the allure of gold proved too much for the DX cohorts, who quickly turned on one another. As their alliance frayed, WWE Champion John Cena eagerly leveraged his opponents’ betrayal into an intensely fought victory.

Things started out amicably enough. The Game and HBK even greeted the crowd together as DX’s entrance music pervaded the arena. Seconds after the opening bell, however, Michaels unexpectedly lulled his associate to sleep with Sweet Chin Music. With Triple H out cold, HBK and The Champ exchanged strikes.
As any member of the WWE Universe can tell you, though, never count out Triple H. The King of Kings rallied and the three-man clash took on a different, and dangerous, dynamic as the action moved outside the ring. It was there that The Game smashed HBK through the announcers’ table with a spine buster, leaving Triple H to contend with the WWE Champion. While the match nearly ended with several two-counts, in the end a fatigued Cena refused to quit against his equally exhausted rivals and managed to pin Triple H to retain his title.

World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker defeated Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in a Triple Threat Match, marking another significant victory at the pay-per-view where The Phenom unleashed hell on WWE nearly 20 years ago.

Despite a cohesive onslaught from the Unified Tag Team Champions to start, things broke down when Big Show assaulted his own partner, who had The Deadman locked in the Walls of Jericho.

From that point on, it was a free-for-all for the World Title. During the frenzy, Big Show knocked out Jericho with a brutal right to the head.

In the end, The Deadman reigned supreme by locking Big Show in Hell's Gate, forcing him to submit.

With the victory, The Deadman simultaneously defended his World Title and put the entire SmackDown roster on notice. If The World's Largest Athlete can’t stop him, who can?

When the dark force known as “The Undertaker” debuted at Survivor Series in 1990, no one knew quite what to expect. Fast forward to 2009, and the entire WWE Universe is well aware of what The Phenom is capable of – including an outstanding 17-0 record at WrestleMania! (Undertaker’s WrestleMania Legacy)

Ever since regaining the Heavyweight Title earlier this year at Hell in a Cell (PHOTOS), The Undertaker has showed no signs of letting up. At WWE Bragging Rights, the champion overcame the odds and successfully defended his gold against CM Punk, Batista and Rey Mysterio in a Fatal Four Way Match and tonight at Survivor Series, he beat the odds once again in a Triple Threat Match.

To find out if any Superstar is bold enough to step up and challenge The Phenom, don’t miss the next edition of SmackDown this Friday at 8/7 CT on MyNetworkTV.

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Matches are always competitive, but rarely are they as closely contested as the epic battle between Team Kingston and Team Orton. Though each of the 10 competitors fought hard, ultimately, it was Team Captain Kofi Kingston himself that carried the day, pinning his nemesis, and last remaining competitor, Randy Orton to win the match for his team.

Team Kingston and Team Orton had a lot going for them heading into their Elimination Tag Team Match, as both squads were comprised of some of the most talented Superstars that SmackDown, Raw and ECW had to offer. Just how evenly-matched the contest was became clear as the night progressed, with each team losing a member one by one until only Kingston was left on his side. Suddenly, however, the situation had swung firmly in his opponents’ favor, as Team Orton boasted two eligible competitors: CM Punk and The Viper himself.

Not one to be deterred by stiff odds, Kingston fought onward against SmackDown’s CM Punk, pinning The Straightedge Superstar after a hard-fought series of near-falls for both competitors. As soon as Punk was vanquished however, Orton was ready to spring into action. Though The Viper might have boasted more in-ring experience than Kingston, the athletic young Superstar showed that he has just what it takes to compete on WWE’s highest level. Leaping into the air and immediately connecting with Trouble in Paradise, the rising star defeated Orton to win the match for his team, pinning two former World Champions in the span of six seconds.

At Survivor Series, Batista unleashed the full extent of his unrelenting fury on his former friend Rey Mysterio, administering a merciless attack that left the official no choice but to stop the match.
Though the high-octane Mysterio showed the WWE Universe every bit of his heart from the opening bell, battling for the offensive with everything he had, the enraged Animal would eventually descend upon his prey with absolute havoc. In the final moments of the match, the fans erupted as Mysterio looked to be heading to a huge victory of redemption with the 619. However, as Mysterio attempted to channel the late Eddie Guerrero with a follow up frog splash, Batista’s raised knees signaled the beginning of a shocking end.

The vicious Animal proceeded to level Mysterio with an earth-shattering spear, a thunderous spinebuster and three devastating Batista Bombs, never once going for a cover. It was clear that he had no interest in simply winning. He wanted Mysterio to be humiliated. Even after the official attempted to end the relentless punishment by signaling for the bell, Batista’s rampage continued with the execution of a post match spinebuster onto an unforgiving steel chair. Mysterio was left in agonizing pain at the hands of a Superstar that once meant everything to him.

Standing side by side, the two former World Champions have won tag team gold, grieved the loss of a “family member”, and forged a powerful bond in numerous squared circle battles. But when both Superstars, along with CM Punk, were selected to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker at WWE Bragging Rights in a Fatal Four Way Match, the fuse was lit for an explosive parting of ways.

In a match where every Superstar would be for himself, Mysterio stopped Batista from a possible pin over The Deadman. The Undertaker went on to triumph, pinning Batista with a devastating Tombstone. Only seconds later, in a horrific moment that the WWE Universe will never forget, The Animal suddenly snapped, attacking the stunned Master of the 619 with an indescribable assault.

Five days later on SmackDown, Mysterio tried to mend the mighty rip in their heartfelt alliance, but Batista would have none of it. Convinced his closest ally cost him the World Title, the stone-faced Superstar walked out of the ring with more rage in his eyes than ever before.

When SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long made a match between the two former friends at Survivor Series, things went from bad to worse. At the official contract signing, The Animal demanded that Mysterio sign a “Hold Harmless Agreement,” preventing legal action against him for anything he might do to his opponent at the pay-per-view. After reluctantly signing it, The Ultimate Underdog proceeded to humiliate his newfound adversary, flipping the signing table onto him, adding insult to injury as he stepped onto it while making his exit.

Two days before their pay-per-view showdown, after Batista cost Mysterio his match with Tyson Kidd by disqualification, the masked Superstar found an opening to dish out another embarrassing hit-and-run attack on the man he once called a brother. An irate Batista failed to catch Mysterio and was left with nothing but egg on his face for the second week in a row.

Though Mysterio was bound and determined to show Batista a side of him he has never seen before at Survivor Series, in the end, his heart was not enough to overcome the furious bite of The Animal. And now that Batista has released his insane wrath upon a Superstar he once called family, no one on SmackDown is safe.

To the surprise of many in the WWE Universe, United States Champion The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Sheamus & Dolph Ziggler were able to put their major egos aside and work together to take down the explosive squad of Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Evan Bourne & Shelton Benjamin in the opening bout of Survivor Series.

The match began with Raw rivals Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger squaring off in the center of the ring and quickly turned to chaos from there. Pinfalls quickly piled up as Superstars from each brand clashed, including a showdown between the tough Irishmen Sheamus and Finlay, which The Celtic Warrior won with a devastating front kick.

When the dust began to settle, John Morrison found himself alone and outnumbered against the seriously terrifying triumvirate of The Miz, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. Throwing caution to the wind, The Shaman of Sexy attempted to overcome the odds with his explosive offense, but he simply couldn’t handle three vicious competitors at once. In the end, Morrison was slammed to the mat by The Celtic Warrior and pinned, giving Team Miz the victory.

The Miz has now racked up two consecutive pay-per-view victories over his former tag team partner. Obviously, this does not sit well with The Guru of Greatness and you can expect these two talented young Superstars to meet again.

Mickie James, on one hand, escaped the Verizon Center a searing survivor. The smart, sexy and powerful Diva, on the other hand, left yearning for further retribution.

Captain James, along with her partner and Divas Champion Melina, prevailed in Sunday’s Divas Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match despite Beth Phoenix not accepting her elimination. The Glamazon assaulted Mickie before the official finally forced her to exit.

In the preceding weeks, Beth, along with Layla and team captain and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, affronted James with vicious insults. The devious trio, in fact, labeled her a “pig,” causing the former four-time Women’s Champ to cry on SmackDown.

Despite it being a bittersweet triumph for the two awesome in-ring performers, Mickie and The Red Carpet Diva demonstrated why they are each top-ranked Divas.

Melina, for one, showed how versatile she can be when she pulled off an incredibly acrobatic sunset flip on Michelle to conclude the match. Mickie, meanwhile, can certainly expect a crack at the Women’s Title at some point soon after her impressive performance, which included eliminating Beth and Alicia.

The two dazzling Divas, nevertheless, will likely employ action against their bullies in the upcoming weeks to get some extra desired revenge.

WWEAdikt, Thinks the complete PPV was a success continuing John Cenas' Winning Streak at Survivor Series was a asterstroke, turning this PPV into The Undertakers Wrestlemania, The Undertaker was the obvious winner in the Heavyweight Championship Match and all of the Traditional Survivor Series Matches were good for the longevity of storylines. The one match that suprised me was the Batista/Rey Mysterio match, I would have thought Rey would win but I think WWE needed to solidify Batistas' Heel Turn.

What do you think? Let WWEAdikt know......

Jim 'JR' Ross: Update

In his latest blog entry, Jim Ross responded to online rumors that he was planning to return to the WWE broadcast team for Wrestlemania 26, commenting:
Read on line where I was returning to WWE at Wrestlemania. This info was attributed to my friend and former broadcast partner Jerry Lawler. I don't know if I confused the King when we last spoke or if he was simply misquoted which is more likely but the story is not accurate. When talking with Jerry about when I was going to return, I mentioned that there was NO time table due to not knowing when the facial nerve on the right side of my face was going to kick start. I mentioned that IF it was going to be close to Wrestlemania that it might be good just to wait and return at WM26. The facial nerve could ignite tomorow...or next week...or 2-4 months from now. No one knows. The last time that I had Bells palsy it hit me in December and I returned to Wrestlemania in late March and broadcast one match, Austin vs. The Rock but I had to hold one side of my face up to speak clearly. This attack isn't as severe as that one in my opinion.

I do feel better other than the facial paralysis and some lingering issues with my right eye but all in all I truly believe that I am improving. I'm also making several life style changes that I think are timely and career enhancing.

My contract negotiations with WWE are still to be finalized but, as I feel in all things regarding my life. I remain confident and positive that those contractual issues will work out to every one's satisfaction.

Report: WWE losing faith in Melina?

A report in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer newsletter suggests that WWE officials are losing faith in Divas Champion, Melina since her move to Raw last month.

It’s easy to see why, considering Melina hasn’t had great showings in the ring since moving to the red brand. Until her move on October 12th, it looked as though Melina was going to have a banner year — perhaps one of the best years for any Diva in recent years. Her work had been at a consistently high level since her return last November and it seems the move to Raw was something of a promotion. Since moving however, she hasn’t had great matches on television [particularly with Jillian] and house show reports haven’t been too favourable either.

Report: Toronto to Host Wrestlemania XXVII

Several sources are saying WrestleMania 27 could take place at the former Skydome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. If the event takes place at Skydome, it would be the third venue, along with Madison Square Garden and the Rosemont Horizon to host WrestleMania three times. WrestleMania 6 and 18 were both held in Skydome.

Miami, Atlanta and Indianapolis are also in the running, and an official decision should be made soon.

WWE After More ROH Talent?

Former ROH Tag Team champions Jay and Mark Briscoe were at last night's WWE Smackdown/ECW taping in Philadelphia and worked out in the ring before the taping in something of an informal tryout. The duo are currently under a Ring of Honor contract and were given permission by the company to attend the taping and do the invited tryout.

Also, Add former ROH Female Becky Bayless to the talents who had tryouts at the Smackdown/ECW taping last night.

So, Will Jay and Mark Briscoe and Becky Bayless be following Bryan Danielson to the World of World Wrestling Entertainment?

WWE RAW: Live From Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York

WWE RAW Results
New York City, New York
November 16, 2009

WWE RAW Opener:

We open with a shot of Roddy Piper in the back. He says he's back and so is the Piper's Pit. He then introduces actor Luiz Guzman who is promoting the new Old Dogs movie starring John Travolta. Piper says that he's aware Guzman is a chef and he has one of the most famous chef's there with them. Iron Sheik comes out instead and does his usual yelling and bitching about Hogan. He has action figures of him and Hogan that he's using to explain his points, too. They are then joined by the Bella Twins and all five of them do the "Live from New York...it's Monday Night Raw" shtick from SNL.

The Miz comes out to the ring. He asks the crowd if they understand that he's the U.S. Champion. He thought they loved champions like the New York Yankees. He then mocks the baseball team by saying they didn't earn their recent world title, they bought it. He says that's why everyone around the world hates the New Yorkers and their sports franchises. He says he didn't have to buy his title..he earned it..and right now, he's going to prove it. Piper apparently told him earlier that he had to defend his title tonight. His opponent? MVP.

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Miz (c) vs MVP

The Miz starts early by unloading a ton of punches before finally being backed off by the ref. It doesn't take long before MVP takes over the offense with a hip toss and a bodyslam. Miz rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but MVP follows him and gives him a right hand before rolling him back into the ring. While MVP attempts to get back in the ring, Miz kicks him back to the outside and regains control. He rams MVP's head into the ring post, rolls him back in the ring, and gets a two count. Miz applies a headlock, but MVP rallies out of it and then sends Miz flying into the air making him land face first on the mat. A clothesline and he's going "Ballin". He connects and then he tries to hit the Playmaker, but Miz gets out of it. He gets a huge boot of MVP though for his trouble. Miz finally regains control with an elbow. Finish follows with the Skull Crushing Finale and the three count.

WINNER: The Miz Retains

[COMMERCIAL]

Santino Marella vs Chavo Guerrero

Santino has fun with the crowd first by wearing all the New York jerseys. Some got boos, some got cheers. His final two were the Phillies, who got a huge boo, and then the New York Yankees which he ended with before getting the match started. That, of course, got the crowd going. Chavo, glad to get the match started, punched Santino and took early control. He tries to go for the frog splash, but Santino rolls to the other side of the ring. Chavo then goes to the other ring post to attempt the same thing, Santino rolls to the other side. They do that again and the crowd loves it as they start a "Santino" chant. Hornswoggle comes out (in the D-X get up again) and Santino steals the victory with a roll-up.

WINNER: Santino Marella

After The Match: Hornswoggle rolls under the ring as Chavo is looking under there. D-X's music hits and Shawn and Hunter come out to the ring. They throw out their glowsticks like regular and each take a mic. No sign of Chavo anymore. Hunter hypes the crowd and talks about how MSG is the most famous arena in the world. He goes on saying that they wanted to come out and have fun, sell some merchandise, etc..but unfortunately, it's not going to happen. Shawn says it's true. They aren't going to come out and let people know that their book is available on WWEShop.com. They joke about the book some more and then Hunter says what they are really going to talk about is the big fat elephant in the room.

This Sunday, they have the triple threat match. Cena gets quite a bit of boos from the crowd when his name is mentioned. He says him and Shawn are on the same page and are not going to turn on each other. They've come to terms that only one of them can be Champion and they don't care which one as long as the title comes to D-X. Shawn adds that the two of them "will" compete at the pay per view, but the fact is you can't tear D-X apart. He then moves on to Hornswoggle. They know he's under the ring and that he refuses to quit wearing their merchandise. They ask him to come out and they'd consider making him a member of D-X.

Hornswoggle comes out from under the ring, joins them, and starts with some crotch chops. Hunter finally stops him and asks if he wants to be apart of D-X. He shakes his head "yes" and Hunter starts his "Are you ready..." spill. On the final line..."Let's get ready to...", Hunter turns and kicks Hornswoggle in the gut and delivers a Pedigree. The crowd boos a lot after this, but when Shawn gives them their cue to sell "Suck It", they still do. They then get a "little" stretcher out with the D-X logo on it. They place Hornswoggle on it and carry him to the back.

[COMMERCIAL]

We're back and Cole and Lawler put over the history of the WWE/MSG relationship. They air a video recap of the significance of the Garden and its past with the organization.

We see Roddy Piper in the back and he's met by Chris Jericho. Jericho says that he's still not getting any respect by the guest hosts. Piper says he wouldn't want to disrespect him and he's got something special for him. He brings in Chris Masters and has him repeat the titty shaking again. Jericho is grossed out, but the Bella Twins love it and they take Masters away. Piper then walks away after slapping Jericho's chest with the hand he just blew his nose with..

We see Melina and Alicia Fox separately walking toward the ring and their Diva's title match is next.

[COMMERCIAL]

DIVA'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Melina (c) versus Alicia Fox

Judah Friedlander from "30 Rock" comes out as the special guest ring announcer and introduces Melina and Fox. The two come out and Alicia tells Friedlander to announce her as the "next Diva's Champion". He says he can't do that because he came to Raw for two reasons. One, to watch Melina's entrance. And two, to announce that this Diva's Championship match is now a lumberjill match. All the diva's come out and surround the ring and we're underway.

A lot of quick action and reversals in the beginning until Fox throws Melina outside for her to get beat up a little bit by the lumberjills. When she gets back in the ring, Fox goes for a pin attempt but only gets two. Melina regains offense after a facebuster and a couple of clotheslines. Fox hits a tiltawhirl backbreaker, but only gets two. Shortly after, Melina finds reverses a move and jumps on Fox's back and does her crazy looking sit-down powerbomb moves and gets the win.

WINNER: Melina Retains

After The Match: All the girls come in and go at it, but Mickie James' team comes out on top and celebrates with Friedlander.

SEGMENT: Roddy Piper Challenges Vince McMahon to a Match

Following the break, Raw guest host Roddy Piper comes out to the ring. He puts over the Garden and the New York fans. He jokes about the camera being too close and he tells the camera man to stand back or he'd kick him in the slacks. Funny. He continues putting over New York and MSG. He talks about embarassing Cyndi Laupe after the "embarassed himself". He then puts over other legends he wrestled right there in the Garden. He said that's proof that you're either bald or dead if you're messing with Rowdy Roddy Piper. He says he can say that because they know he loves them...well, the dead ones do. He's the reason Hulk Hogan has no hair.

He continues by saying he has done some bad things, but he has one more thing to do before he checks out like the rest of them. He says he wants one more match with Vincent Kennedy McMahon! He knows McMahon is a big fan of his because when he did Real Sports w/ Bryant Gumbel, Vince fired him right afterward right there in MSG. He says he knows Vince is in the building and sure enough, the Chairman makes his way out to the ring.

Vince makes fun of Roddy Piper's dye job on his hair. Vince agrees that Piper has done some horrible things in the Garden, but the worst thing he's ever done is show up. He says Mother Nature hasn't been too kind to Piper. Vince continues to make fun of Piper's run-down appearance. He then says the only thing that hasn't dried up and withered away is his kilt. If he were to fight Piper, his forefathers would be ashamed of him. Piper says that there's plenty of other things people are ashamed of Vince for and the two continue keep going back and forth. Vince says he looks better and has beaten all of the people he stepped in the ring with, including Austin, Rock, Triple H, etc. and unless there's better competition out there, he's officially retiring from ring action.

Piper says he's done playing games and calls Vince a coward. He says he's not sane and that's what Vince needs to be afraid of. He's beaten cancer and he can beat Vince. He doesn't want the match at a WrestleMania or a pay per view. He wants the match in front of the people who made Vince a billionaire. He says he'll be here later and challenges McMahon to be there too. Piper leaves and McMahon starts talking, but they cut to promoting the main event triple threat match. Not sure what happened, but we cut to a break.

[COMMERCIAL]

SEGMENT: Sheamus Challenges Anyone From The Back, Attacks Lawler

Sheamus comes out, gets on the mic and says that he's challenging anyone in the back to come out and face him because he wants to make another impact. No one comes right away and Sheamus gets out of the ring and hands the mic to announcer Justin Roberts. He then starts choking out another WWE employee and knees him in the stomach. He slides him across the announce table and throws him off the other side. Jerry Lawler then comes from behind the table and before he can say anything, Sheamus delivers a huge boot to his face. No one ever comes out to challenge him though, so he leaves and head to the back.

[COMMERCIAL]

We're back and Matt Striker has taken Lawler's place at the announce table and the two run down Survivor Series.

Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger

We're back and Swagger has control with a bearhug. Bourne fights his way out, but Swagger hits a big clothesline from behind to stay on the offense. He tries a suplex, but Swagger knees out of it and tries a quick roll up, but only gets two. Bourne hits a dropkick, charges Swagger in the corner, but two reversals and Bourne goes up top and hits the flying knees. He tries a moonsault off the other ring post, but Swagger catches him and rams him into the other corner. He then delivers the powerbomb and gets the three count.

WINNER: Jack Swagger

We cut to Roddy Piper walking to the ring in the back and that potential street fight between him and Vince McMahon is next.

[COMMERCIAL]

SEGMENT: Orton Accepts Piper's Challenge, Kofi/Orton Fight

We're back and Piper's in the ring waiting for Vince. He asks for the microphone, but before he can say anything, Randy Orton comes out. Orton says he doesn't know if McMahon is coming out or not, but he does know that Piper has a big problem..because he's here. He says putting Piper down would relieve his stress, so if it's a fight that he wants, well...and a big boot to Piper's gut. Piper tries calling for a time-out as he raises to his feet. He then throws a cheap shot punch to Orton's face, but the offense didn't last long as Orton goes crazy with punches and kicks.

Orton's about to go for a big kick to Piper's head, but he's cut off by Kofi Kingston's music (it looked like the music started too late, by the way). The two of them fight their way out of the ring and Kofi throws Orton over the gaurdrail and they take it into the crowd. Kofi jumps on Orton in the middle of the crowd and starts nailing him with punches. Orton fights back and the two go back and forth. They come back to the ring area and Orton takes the offense. He rams Kofi's head into the steel steps. They go back in the ring and Orton slingshots Kofi's neck into the bottom rope.

Orton attempts the punt to the head, but Kofi counters with a crossbody. They go back outside and Kofi rams Orton into the guardrail before throwing him back over the guardrail again. This time, they are in an open space next to the crowd. The two keep going back and forth as referees finally come out and try to stop the action. Each of them keep breaking free though a couple of times and jumping the other again. Orton tries to crawl away begging for mercy, but Kofi doesn't hold back. Kofi throws Orton off one level of the stands to a lower one in what looks like a technical production area. He takes a lid to one of the production cases and nails Orton in the head with it.

Kofi continues his beatdown while the crowd starts a big "Kofi" chant. Kofi then goes back to the higher level and is planning on jumping on to Orton while he's motionless on a table below. However, the refs drag him off of the rail. He escapes and goes back up anyway, leaps off and nails a HIGH double legdrop. One hell of a spot. We cut to break as Kofi being held back by refs (finally) looks over the lifeless body of Orton.

Main event is next...

[COMMERCIAL]

John Cena is in the back following the break talking about tonight making history with the main event. While he's talking about the triple threat match at Survivor Series being a handicap match, he is interrupted by some employee with a message on a note. Cena asks if he's sure it's real. They say yes and apparently the note just said something about it not being a handicap match. Rather, it's a triple threat match. Confusing (to me anyway)...

As JeriShow makes their way to the ring, we cut to our last break.

[COMMERCIAL]

MAIN EVENT: D-X vs JeriShow vs Undertaker & John Cena

A quick aside, the Undertaker went retro with his entrance including drones lining up with fire down the sides of the entrance way. Very cool. Jericho, Cena, and HBK start the match. Rules are that you can only tag your partner. Jericho quickly tags in Big Show. That prompts HBK to tag in Triple H. And yes, John Cena tagged in Undertaker. The three "big men" come to the middle. Hunter and Taker stare each other down before turning their attention to Big Show. They double team him until Undertaker clotheslines him out of the ring. He then catches Hunter off guard with a clothesline.

Hunter reverses an irish whip and hits a huge spinebuster on Undertaker. Shawn asks for the tag and him and the Undertaker come face to face. The Ric Flair slaps to the chest from Michaels to Taker. Undertaker throws Shawn over the top rope, but Shawn keeps hold of the top rope and tries pulling himself back into the ring. Undertaker catches him but Big Show takes them both by surprise from behind. Show tags in Jericho and he quickly applies the Walls of Jericho on Shawn. Taker grabs Jericho's throat and Cena tags himself in. He then delivers a running bulldog to Jericho before Shawn attacks him from behind. Hunter gets tagged in and him and Cena double team Jericho before they finally start going at it. Big Show cuts them short though with a double chokeslam

Undertaker then comes in and takes Big Show outside of the ring. Big Show reverses a whip and rams Undertaker into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Jericho tries to go for a cover on Cena, but a kick out at two. Hunter makes the hot tag to HBK and he comes in firing at Jericho. Knee drop, bodyslam, and the big elbow. He starts tuning up the band, goes for Cena, but Cena ducks and takes over the offense with a side slam. He does the Five Knuckle Shuffle and then takes HBK up on his shoulder for the Attitude Adjustment. While HBK is on Cena's shoulders, Hunter tags himself in and takes control.

Hunter hits a spinebuster on Cena and attempts the Pedigree, but Big Show interupts with a huge headbutt. Shawn then hits Show with the Sweet Chin Music. Jericho a Codebreaker on HBK. Undertaker a HUGE chokeslam on Jericho. Hunter then clotheslines Undertaker over the top rope. Cena nails the Attitude Adjustment on Hunter and gets the three count.

WINNERS: John Cena and The Undertaker

After The Match: Undertaker hits a Tombstone Piledriver on Cena and Raw goes off the air with the dark arena, Undertaker on one knee, and everyone left out cold around him

BREAKING NEWS:- Shane McMahon meets with UFC?

Dave Meltzer broke the news tonight that Shane McMahon had a meeting recently with Dana White at the UFC offices. White refused to comment when asked about Shane this weekend while promoting UFC 105 in England.

Depending on how this plays out this is potentially one of the biggest stories of the decade. The only thing certain right now is that only a handful of people know what took place in that meeting and none of them will be talking about it.

ECW Report: Sheffield, England - Tuesday 10th November

RESULTS

SHEFFIELD, England – In one of the toughest matches of his ECW career, Christian defeated William Regal in his native country to retain the ECW Championship. It was the rivals’ fairest fight to date, as Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov were banned from ringside, allowing Captain Charisma to prevail over The British Brawler.

ECW Champion Christian def. William Regal in a Title Match
William Regal finally had his wish granted last week by ECW General Manager Tiffany – a title match against Christian. It was a match Regal wanted and obsessed about for months, and Regal’s terms were agreed upon by Christian – with Captain Charisma allowing The British Brawler to contend for the ECW Championship in his homeland, England.
However, with Regal’s Ruthless Roundtable banned from ringside, the odds were stacked fairly for both competitors. This time, Christian and Regal finally met again, one-on-one without distractions or assistance from other Superstars, and it was the ECW Champion who truly triumphed. After breaking out of the Regal Stretch and hitting The British Brawler with a devastating Killswitch, Christian pinned his foe for the hard-fought, monumental victory to retain the ECW Championship.
Is the end of the rivalry between Christian and Regal? Has Christian finally proven he’s the ECW Superstar most-deserving to wear the Extreme gold? Or will Regal try again to capture the ECW Championship? And if so, how will Tiffany react?

Goldust def. Paul Burchill
With his sister, Katie Lea, in his corner, Paul Burchill faced Goldust this week on ECW on Syfy, but The Ripper’s rival, The Hurricane, distracted him during the match. The masked Superstar’s interruption allowed Goldust to capitalize on the situation, hit Burchill with a Final Cut and pin him for the victory, giving The Hurricane the last laugh before his critical match against Burchill next week.

Burchill is determined to prove to the WWE Universe that The Hurricane and Gregory Helms are the same person. Next Tuesday, if The Ripper wins, The Hurricane must unmask in front of the WWE Universe, revealing his true identity. But if The Hurricane wins, the Burchills must leave ECW for good. Who will prevail in this monumental Mask vs. Career Match? Watch ECW on Syfy Tuesday night at 10/9 CT.

The Abraham Washington Show with Yoshi Tatsu
Could it be? An Abraham Washington Show that didn’t erupt into a brawl? It seems taking the critically-acclaimed, late-night talk show international was the trick. This week’s episode from the Sheffield Arena, featuring Japanese Superstar Yoshi Tatsu, featured plenty of laughs from WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas and ended on a somewhat peaceful note, although Abraham Washington wasn’t too pleased when Tatsu stole the show.

Vance Archer def. local competitor
Tuesday night’s newest Superstar, Vance Archer, earned his second victory in as many weeks on ECW on Syfy. To the WWE Universe who doesn’t know much about Archer, he offered this: “Who is Vance Archer? My opponent is about to find out.” With another domineering win over a local competitor, the confident Archer is quickly making a name for himself in the Land of the Extreme with a 2-0 record. How will this newcomer make an impact on ECW on Syfy? Who will dare to enter the ring to face Archer next?

Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes meet again
While many think the beautiful and enchanting Rosa Mendes distracted Zack Ryder last week, leading to his loss to Shelton Benjamin, the Long Island, N.Y., Superstar told the Diva he’d welcome her to his corner of the ring anytime. On this week’s “WWE Superstars,” Ryder will meet Benjamin again. Will Rosa return to ringside, and if so, will her presence help or hinder Ryder’s game?

Jamie Noble: Retires

Early Tuesday morning, WWE.com was contacted by Jamie Noble, who revealed his decision to conclude a seven-year career as a WWE Superstar and retire from the squared circle.

This regrettable announcement came hours after Noble was released from the medical facility where he sought treatment for injuries sustained at the hands of Sheamus one week ago on Raw and after years of nagging shoulder and neck injuries.

"Luckily, the doctors tell me I'm going to recover again," Noble told WWE.com in an article published earlier this week. "But I'm laying here thinkin' about how great my life is with my wife and my son. I'm thinkin', how many more times am I gonna be lucky enough to walk out of the hospital on my own? I'm thinkin' it might be time to hang up my tights and boots." (Full Article Here)

WWEAdikt wishes Jamie Noble all the best in his recovery and his career outside the ring.

Raw Report: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom

SHEFFIELD, England – Raw’s special guest host, boxing great Ricky Hatton, knows how to pack the kind of wallop that brings a crowd to their feet, and the Englishman did just that by overseeing a powerful Raw that even saw World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker make an appearance.

DX def. Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in a Non-Title Match; WWE Champion John Cena & World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker will team up next week
Two weeks before Survivor Series, Triple H & Shawn Michaels offered WWE Champion John Cena a preview of what awaits him in that trio’s Triple Threat Match. The DX duo faced down Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show, who themselves will combat World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker in their own battle of three.
With The Champ looking on from the announcer’s table, the teams punished one another until The World’s Largest Athlete attempted to seal Michaels’ fate. As HBK fended off an attack from Jericho, Show illegally charged him. When Show attempted to land a knock out punch on Michaels, though, he accidentally connected with his partner, allowing HBK to score the pin.
While the turn of events was unforeseen, the biggest surprise came after the match. The WWE Champion revealed that next week’s Raw will include a Triple Threat Tag Team Match involving three teams: DX, Jeri-Show and … John Cena & The Undertaker! Each of the teams appeared as stunned as the WWE Universe as the World Heavyweight Champion slowly and deliberately walked down the entrance ramp, eyeing his opponents.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper will be Raw’s special guest host next week
When Raw rolls into Madison Square Garden next week, the week’s special guest host will be a man familiar with the energy and history contained within the World’s Most Famous Arena: WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

Ricky Hatton def. Chavo Guerrero
Maybe Chavo Guerrero has been wearing his bandana too tight lately. How else to explain why he would face down Ricky Hatton in a “Boxer vs. Wrestler” Match? As a two-time IBF welterweight champion and former unified light welterweight champion, Hatton bided his time, avoiding Chavo’s clutch and waiting for just the right moment. That moment arrived several minutes into the bout when Hatton escaped from a waist lock and landed a devastating right hook to Chavo’s face to put him down for the count.

Randy Orton def. Mark Henry
A slap at the hand of Kofi Kingston may have been all the incentive Randy Orton needed in his match against Mark Henry. The former WWE Champion battled The World’s Strongest Man in a match that saw both Superstars on the verge of victory. In the end, The Viper struck Henry and pinned him for the three-count.
Never one to swallow his pride easily, Orton ambushed Kingston as he attended to Henry. The Viper returned a slap he’d received earlier, but Kingston quickly returned fire before Orton could dart outside the ring.

Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase confronted Kofi Kingston, MVP & Mark Henry in the VIP Lounge
Montel Vontavious Porter, with Mark Henry at his side, welcomed the captain of their Survivor Series team, Kofi Kingston, to his VIP Lounge. The three toasted Kingston’s fortitude in standing up to Randy Orton over the past several weeks.
Not surprisingly, The Viper took issue. As captain of the opposing Survivor Series team, Orton, with Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase in tow, confronted Kingston and his pals. After The Viper offended the trio, Kingston had heard enough. He slapped Orton across the face and showed that he’s not about to be bullied.

Evan Bourne def. Jack Swagger
It looks like Jack Swagger bit off more than he could chew, which is saying a lot for a guy with a mouth as big as his. Earlier this year, “The All-American American” promised he would remain undefeated for remainder of 2009. Swagger didn’t count on the high-flying determination of his Evan Bourne. The two-time collegiate All-American may have been trying to win over his Survivor Series team captain, The Miz, who watched the bout from ringside, but he only succeeded in losing the match, along with his dignity.

Sheamus def. A local competitor
The English and their Irish neighbors share a complicated history of aggression and brutality dating back centuries. In that sense, Sheamus, a proud Irishman, proved himself a staunch traditionalist. One week after punishing Jamie Noble, The Celtic Warrior stomped into England and destroyed one of their own, a local Sheffield wrestler, but not before bragging to the assembled masses that his brutality had effectively ended Noble’s career. Sheamus has proven so impressive since his Raw debut two weeks ago, in fact, that United States Champion The Miz recruited him for his team during the Survivor Series Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match.

Alicia Fox def. Kelly Kelly
Accompanied to the ring by Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly hoped to make amends for coming up just shy in the Diva Battle Royal last week. To accomplish this, she would face the Diva who won the match and the right to face Divas Champion Melina, Alicia Fox. Unfortunately for Kelly Kelly, Alicia continued her winning ways and will compete for the Butterfly gold next week in Madison Square Garden.

Jim Ross Update: WWE Channel, Grisham&Striker & his Health

Jim Ross WWE

WWE Hall OF Famer updated his JRSBar.q.com. Here are a few highlights:

-As I wrote earlier in the week, the potential of a WWE Channel is another positive. There are virtually unlimited ways to create new programming notwithstanding the Legends Roundtables, watching DVD releases w/ the talents involved with the production, daily blocks of World Class, AWA, ect has credence. Producing internet “radio shows” along the line of ESPN’s Mike and MIke, etc would work. Producing a specfic number of hours of daily programming and then repeating it seems doable. The potential is really limitless

-Grisham and Striker are beginning to mesh as a solid broadcast duo and their efforts will continue to be a work in progress which is to be expected. I like their potential. Their progress may see yours truly assume another role TBD upon my return which works for me. I feel that I’m fortune to be able to help the team in a variety of ways. All of that is up in the air and is pure speculation until I’ve been medically cleared. Maybe there is a there man booth in my future especially on selected PPV’s. Who knows but I for one am not concerned. Just anxious to get back in the game.

-My headaches are lessening in frequency but issues w/ my right eye persists and my tongue is still numb. Bells palsy just takes time and patience to heal. I’m not long on the patience aspect of that formula. Watching me eat hot soup is, admittedly, entertaining.

As always an great read, click here.
